What to watch this weekend in esports

by Olivia Schaller--Updated

Don’t know what to watch this weekend? We’ve got you covered. Here’s a rundown of some of the most intriguing games and tournaments happening this weekend.

VALORANT

Four teams have already qualified for next month’s Master’s tournament, but there is still another round of qualifiers to determine the other four participants. The VALORANT Champions Tour continues this weekend with the third open qualifier of NA Challengers, organized by Nerd Street Gamers.

This qualifier will determine the four teams joining 100 Thieves, Luminosity Gaming, FaZe Clan and Gen.G in next weekend’s closed qualifier. TSM is the main team to watch. If they lose early, they won’t make it to Masters, which would be a big surprise given how highly regarded they are. Andbox and NRG are also two teams to watch. Earlier this week, Bradley “ANDROID” Fodor parted ways with Andbox and less than an hour later was with NRG.
