FREE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES ACADEMY - FORTNITE 
N3rd Street Gamers (NSG) will be operating FREE NCS Academy Tier events presented by Cheez It Grooves at Walmart 8250 Razorback Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80920, from October 2 – October 6 from 12n – 6pm each day.   

Cheez It Grooves is looking to train you to become the next great Overwatch and Fortnite star. Visit our clinic and receive insight into the world of Esports competition. First get your taste of structure with the NCS, then learn more game specific gameplay and mechanics. 

   The first 15 to pre-register and attendee receive VIP status and get a custom gamer jersey. Five of those jerseys will remain and be given to individuals that display sportsmanship, meet set requirements or have the Cheez-It Grooves win of the day.  

 FORTNITE SCORING
Event Rules Utilizing the Bounty system, players will play a total of 3 games. Scores will be taken from each game and added to their total points after the evening.  Kills are worth negative 3 points. Your score is your rank in game. If you finish with a victory royale and no kills your score is 0. If you finish in first with 1 kill, then your score is -3. Lowest possible score determines the winner.

 OVERWATCH GAMEPLAY AND SCORING
At the Academy, we’ll pair you and two other individuals to take on other trainees in a 3v3 competition. During your competition, we’ll have a coach step-in during key moments and give you pro-tips and analysis. This is open to players of all skill; we encourage those who are looking to discover Overwatch or those looking to refine their Hanzo.

Staff and coach will do everything in their power to keep the tournament fair for all parties, this includes attempted to draft the best based upon player strong points

-Check-in begins at 12PM CST
-Games will run until 6PM CST
-All gameplay must begin before 5:45PM CST
-Must be 12 year of age or older to participate
-Anyone 18 and under must always be accompanied by a legal guardian
-Max 1-hour limit per turn
-Sportsmanship is highly encouraged, bad mouthing and disrespect will not be tolerated
-You are welcome to re-register after your first try at the competition and get back in the action.
