1v1 Box Fight Tournaments Are Here!
Localhost Philly is proud to present a twist to our weekly Fortnite tournaments! Join us this Friday, February 14th, for a 1v1 Box Fighting Tournament. Peripherals (mice, mousepad, keyboards and headsets) are provided but players may bring their own. Stock controllers, Scuf controllers and Xbox Elite controllers are allowed.
Format:
- 1 Creative Box Fighting map will be used in the tournament (Clix Box Fights 7620-0771-9529)
- Seeding for the tournament will be determined by a First to 5 round robin group stage
- After each game is complete, players must get TO to record final score
- After all round robin games are complete, there will be a 10 minute break where the TO will seed a double-elimination bracket which will be a first to 5, and win by 2 matches.
- Grand Finals will be a first to 7, win by 2 matches
Payment & Prize Payout:
- $20 to enter with $10 going towards the venue fee and $10 going towards the prize pot.
- Prize pot will depend on number of entrants so the more players the bigger the prize!
- No refunds or exchanges.
- Prize payout breakdown will be a 50-30-20 split among the top 3 players if 10 players sign up.
- If less than 10 players sign up it will be winner-take-all!
Registration: - Register at Localhost Philly from 4:00 PM - 6:45 PM, or secure your spot early by pre-registering at lobby.gg
- Check in is at 6:00 PM and ends at 6:45 PM, with games beginning at 7:00 PM. Games will end around 10:00 PM. Players will start their games at 7:00 PM when the Tournament Organizer gives the OK.
Cheating:
- This includes but is not limited to any downloaded third party software, USB or flash drives being plugged in, and not recording scores through the TO.
- Localhost will supply computers and peripherals for players to use. All computers provided are as-is. While players may change minimal configuration settings to meet desired tastes (mouse sensitivity, monitor resolution, etc), any player found attempting to alter the system or hardware outside of user preferences (BIOS, CPU, GPU, Memory, Overclocking, Registry, Game Files etc.) is subject to disqualification without warning.
- Players are responsible to immediately notify the TO of any computer issues they experience.
- No refunds will be issued for disqualified players.
