August 3, 2020 – The second and final day of the Nerd Street Gamers x FaZe Clan Qualifiers was packed with intense competition from all 125 teams participating in the event hoping to secure their spot in the August 6th – 9th $50,000 Invitational.

Similar to Day 1, the first matches took place behind the scenes prior to the official broadcast going live with the Quarter-Finals on Nerd Street Gamers Twitch.

The broadcast kicked off with UnderratedVAL facing off against Way2French for a spot in the Semi-Finals.

SIMO and Vansilli, the amazing casters for the tournament, talked us through the tight match.

After taking both Ascent and Haven, Way2French proved they were worthy of moving on in the tournament.

Next up in the broadcast was Bloom taking on HIA Money Crew. Bloom was off to a promising start taking Haven in a 13 – 9 victory.

Bind was up next, and the pressure was on for Money Crew.

Money Crew showed up!

After a back and forth, they secured Bind to stay in the race for the Grand Finals and their spot in $50,000 Invitational. It all came down to how the teams would perform at Split.

After coming up from behind, Team Bloom took the map!

With their victory, the team secured the third spot available for the Invitational, and moved on to the Qualifier Grand Finals.

Following Team Bloom’s victory, fans tuned in to Semi-Finals between Way2French and Lemonade Stand.

Team Lemonade Stand was taking no prisoners. They secured the first map Haven, and came in hot on Bind, kicking it off with a 4k with the Ghost.

Lemonade Stand was unstoppable.

The team solidified their place in the Invitational, the final slot available, and moved into the Grand Finals to face off against Team Bloom.

Grand Finals started off with Bloom claiming Ascent 13 – 9.

Next up was Bind, and Lemonade Stand had to make a comeback if they wanted a shot at being named the Day 2 Champions.

Team Bloom takes the second map! The 2 – 0 win over Lemonade Stand crowned the team Qualifier #2 Champions!
